Entourage Effect
The Wedding Cake terpene profile acts in combination with other compounds present in cannabis, such as cannabinoids, in what is known as the "entourage effect". Thus, in products such as flowers, extracts, or concentrates with cannabinoids, terpenes contribute to enhancing their natural effects.
In this case, the Wedding Cake profile provides a mentally active and creative sensation and physically relaxing and enjoyable feeling. It also has anxiolytic effects and helps alleviate stress and improve mood.

The Wedding Cake terpenes from Cali Terpenes have a sweet bakery aroma and taste with spicy and earthy notes, and also caramel, vanilla, and citrus.

Usage Recommendations for Cali Terpenes:
The Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, undiluted, and additive-free. You should handle them with care and they should not be consumed undiluted (except for tastings with Cali Terpenes' pipettes or borosilicate vaporizers).
1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per 1ml dropper drop). 1 drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in 10ml base:
1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%
2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%
*We always recommend doing tests from lower to higher quantity on the same base, since the Cali Terpenes terpenes contribute an intense flavor and aroma easily, given their 100% purity level.
Liquid bases for vaporization (e-liquids):
- The recommended terpene ratio to provide sufficient flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (being able to use up to a maximum of 4% and the most common being 2%)
- For example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of an e-liquid base, providing 2% terpenes. For this, you only have to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
- Following the same proportion, if you had 100ml of an e-liquid base, you should add 2ml of terpenes.
Cannabis extracts and concentrates:
- The recommended Cali Terpenes terpene ratio to impart sufficient flavor and aroma to dry extracts (traditional hash or hash, dry…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax) rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (being able to use up to a maximum of 4% with the most common being from 2 to 3%).
- For example, suppose you have 10g of a cannabis concentrate, for example, a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you want to add 3% terpenes. For this, you only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
- It's very useful to do tests from lower to higher quantity, for example: 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g… conduct a tasting after a few days to appreciate the result of the different proportions used, as this way you'll know the ideal ratio before mixing it with all the material.
- It's very important to make a good mix for uniform results, in addition to leaving a rest/maceration time of at least 24/48h, thus the terpenes will integrate completely.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:
Terpenes can also be used to scent buds, from either hemp or cannabis. It's not recommended to add more than 4% terpenes and it's possible that in some cases the percentage of aroma to apply should be less since the flowers may contain some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in a too intense and possibly unpleasant aroma.
The ideal method for applying terpenes to buds, flowers, and dried herbs is Terps Spray.
If you have small amounts of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetics sprayer or similar to perform a function similar (not as professional) to Terps Spray. It's also possible to use absorbent paper with terpenes in the same container, but they usually integrate better when sprayed, in the case of the buds.
Conservation of Terpenes:
The containers of Cali Terpenes terpenes are ideal for a perfect conservation of the terpenes, as they are equipped with a safety stopper, anti-leak disc and screw-closure cap.
- Each time you finish using the product, place all these elements back to avoid potential evaporations or contaminations.
- Terpenes are volatile elements, thus we always recommend keeping them cool in the refrigerator (approx 7ºC), to prevent possible evaporations while working with them.
- The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, this way you'll avoid the evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
- Always keep terpenes in their original container, as the material used (dark glass that does not allow UV passage) is perfect for preserving thermo or photosensitive products. This prevents possible color changes, losses, or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode remains of materials such as some plastics).
Certificates of Cali Terpenes:
- Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an exporting company in the FDA (Food and Drugs Association).
- Its products comply with the European vaporization regulations.
Awards:
- Award for the best post-harvest product at Spannabis 2019
