Veneno Cali Terpenes:
The Veneno cannabis terpene profile from Cali Terpenes is a blend of botanical terpenes with the aromatic profile (terpene profile) specific to the terpene extraction from the exotic cannabis strain Veneno (Papa's Candy x Monster) from Eva Seeds.
The Cali Terpenes are of 100% organic origin (plant-based).
Cali Terpenes' aromas (terpenes) use premium quality, certified raw materials, which come from non-GMO, pesticide-free, and pollution-free crops.
The Veneno terpenes do not contain cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN,…).
Main terpenes in Veneno:
Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Beta-Pinene, Alpha-Pinene, Limonene, Linalool, Nerolidol.
Modulation of cannabinoids' effects by terpenes:
The Veneno terpenes synergize with cannabinoids, modulating their effects and providing a physically relaxing and mentally fun sensation.
Perfect for stress relief, promoting sleep, or stimulating appetite.
Taste and aroma of Veneno terpenes:
The Veneno terpenes from Cali Terpenes have a fruity taste and aroma, where strawberry is predominant, with notes of oriental woods and spices.
Uses of Cali Terpenes:
The cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) from Cali Terpenes are used for numerous different applications. In the cannabis and vaping industry, they are typically used to add specific cannabis strain aroma and taste to products such as:
- Vaping liquids (e-liquids).
- Cannabis extractions and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for "vape cartridges” production…).
- Hemp flowers or cannabis (buds).
Usage recommendations for Cali Terpenes:
The Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, with no diluents or additives. You should handle them with care and they should not be consumed undiluted (except for tastings in Cali Terpenes' borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers).
1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from the 1ml dropper). 1 drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:
1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%
2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%
*We always recommend performing tests starting from a smaller to a higher quantity on the same base, since Cali Terpenes can quickly provide an intense taste and aroma, given their 100% purity.
E-liquid bases for vaping:
- The recommended terpene proportion to give enough flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to 4%, with 2% being the most common)
- For example, if you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base with 2% of terpenes, you would only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
- Following the same proportion, if you had 100ml of e-liquid base, you would need to add 2ml of terpenes.
Cannabis extractions and concentrates:
- The recommended Cali Terpenes proportion to provide enough flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash or dry hash…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to a 4% maximum, with 2 to 3% being the most common).
- For example, if you have 10gr of cannabis concentrate, like a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you want to add 3% of terpenes, you would only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
- It's very useful to run tests from a smaller to a higher quantity, for example: 1 drop for 3gr, 1 drop for 2gr, 1 drop for 1gr… then taste test after a few days to evaluate the results of the different proportions used. This way, you'll know the ideal proportion before mixing it with all the material.
- It's very important to mix thoroughly for a uniform result, as well as allowing a resting/maceration period of at least 24/48h, so the terpenes can fully integrate.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:
Terpenes can also be used to flavor hemp or cannabis buds. Adding more than 4% of terpenes is not recommended, and in some cases, the aroma percentage to be applied may need to be lower as the flowers may contain some of their own terpenes. Too much terpenes would result in excessively intense and possibly unpleasant aroma.
The ideal method for applying terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.
If you have small quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to perform a function similar to (but not as professional as) Terps Spray. You can also use a blotting paper soaked with terpenes in the same container, but they tend to integrate better when sprayed, in the case of buds.
Terpene storage:
The Cali Terpenes containers are ideal for a perfect storage of terpenes, as they come with a safety seal, anti-leak disc, and screw-on cap.
- Every time you finish using the product, replace all of these components to avoid possible evaporation or contamination.
- Terpenes are volatile elements, so we always recommend storing them in a cool place in the refrigerator (approx 7ºC), to avoid possible evaporation while working with them.
- The temperature for working with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, this way you'll avoid evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
- Always keep terpenes in their original packaging, the material used (Dark glass that does not allow UV light to pass) is perfect for storing thermo- or photosensitive products. This will prevent potential color change, losses or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode remnants of materials like some plastics).
Certifications of Cali Terpenes:
- Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an export company in the FDA (Food and Drug Association).
- Their products comply with the European vaping regulations.
Awards:
- Award for best post-cultivation product at Spannabis 2019
