There are two ways to work with coco coir, you can use it on its own or mix it with soil.
UGro XL Organic is an organic coco coir, with no buffer treatment, perfect for mixing with any organic substrate to achieve a 100% natural cultivation.
Untreated coco coir retains iron and calcium, leading to deficiencies in plants. To avoid this and maintain a stable pH, the coir is treated with a chemical buffer. Ugro has not treated this coco, it has just sieved and washed it to offer a high-quality product certified by OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute). To use when growing with coco coir as the only substrate, you need to treat it with a product like Buffer Agent by Canna.
Coco coir substrate in fine particles with a low percentage of fibers
Coco coir is an inert substrate, you need to fertilize it from the start with a coco-appropriate feed. If you want to improve your results, introduce Tricoderma like Asir Fruit, Bactrex Aktrivator, Piranha or Bio 16 Trifag at the beginning of the grow and before flowering begins.
