Type and Use

FlashClean has been designed by Terra Aquatica to eliminate fertilizer residue in the substrate and also in automatic watering systems.

Plant Benefits

Dissolves accumulated salts and reduces stress from over-fertilization. It's particularly interesting for root rinsing before the harvest to enhance its flavor.

Use and Dose

In hydroponic systems

• Readjustment and nutrient refresh: Apply 1.5 – 3ml/l to the nutrient solution and let it circulate for 24 hours before draining and replacing with a new nutrient solution.
• Following nutrient lockout or burn: Drain old solution and add 1.5 – 3ml/l to water with pH adjusted. Allow it to circulate for 24 hours before draining and adding a new nutrient solution.
• Last watering after flush: Drain old solution and add 1.5 – 3ml /l to water with pH adjusted. Circulate it for two days prior to harvest to increase sugar levels in the crop.

In pots with substrate and soil-less mixes, such as coconut fiber

• Refresh before changing  nutrients and applications after burn or nutrient lockout: Every 15 days or as necessary, add 1.5 – 3ml/L of water and water until it drains at the bottom of the pot.
• Final watering or after flush: Add 3ml/L in place of nutrients two days before harvest.

La Huerta's Opinion

FlashClean is compatible with Ripen and works well with it. It's normally used after Ripen and during the last two days before harvesting, to increase sugar content of the harvest.
