Tangie Terpenes by Cali Terpenes:
The Tangie cannabis terpene profile by Cali Terpenes is a blend of botanically sourced terpenes with the aromatic profile (or terpene profile) characteristic of Tangie cannabis strain extraction, a cross between Californian Orange x Skunk.
Cali Terpenes are 100% orgnanic (plant-based).
To produce the aromas (or terpenes) by Cali Terpenes, certified, top-quality raw materials are used that originate from non-GMO crops, without pesticides or contaminants.
Tangie terpenes do NOT contain cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN, etc.).
Main terpenes in Tangie:
Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Pinene, Limonene, Linalol.
Modulation of cannabinoids' effects by terpenes:
Tangie terpenes act in synergy with cannabinoids, modulating their effects and providing a slightly euphoric and stimulating sensation, along with feelings of pleasure and cheerfulness.
Ideal for enhancing mood and relieving stress.
Flavor and aroma of Tangie terpenes:
Tangie terpenes by Cali Terpenes have a strong citrus and sweet aroma and taste that remind of tangerines.
Uses of Cali Terpenes:
Cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) by Cali Terpenes are used for many different applications, but in the cannabis and vaping sector they are primarily used to add the aroma and taste of specific cannabis strains to products like:
- Vaping liquids (e-liquids).
- Cannabis extractions and concentrates (rosin, BHO, hash, THC or CBD distillates for producing "vape cartridges")
- Hemp flowers or cannabis (buds).
Recommended use of Cali Terpenes:
Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without diluents or additions. You should handle them with caution and they should not be consumed undiluted, except when tasting with the Cali Terpenes borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers.
1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from the 1ml dropper). One drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:
1 drop in 10ml = 0,25%
2 drops in 10 ml = 0,50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%
*We always recommend doing tests from lower to higher quantity on the same base, as the Cali Terpenes provide intense flavor and aroma easily due to their 100% purity.
Liquid bases for vaporizing (e-liquids):
- The recommended proportion of terpenes to provide sufficient flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to a maximum of 4%, with 2% being the most common)
- As an example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base with a 2% terpene ratio. To do this, you should only add 0.2ml of terpenes.
- Following the same proportion, if you have 100ml of e-liquid base you should add 2ml of terpenes.
Cannabis extractions and concentrates:
- The recommended proportion of Cali Terpenes to give sufficient flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash, dry...), BHO (shatter, live resin, wax), rosin, THC or CBD distillates is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (maximum of 4% and most commonly 2 to 3%).
- As an example, suppose you have 10g of cannabis concentrate, for example a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you want to add 3% terpenes. To do this, you would just add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
- It's very useful to do tests from smaller to larger quantities, for example: 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g... let it sit for a few days to appreciate the results of the different proportions used. This way, you will know the ideal proportion before mixing with the whole material.
- It's very important to mix well so that the result is homogeneous and to allow a resting/maceration period of at least 24/48h. This will fully integrate the terpenes.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:
Terpenes can also be used to flavor hemp or cannabis buds. It is recommended not to add more than 4% terpenes and, in some cases, the proportion of aromas to apply should be less, as the flowers may already have some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in an aroma that is too intense and possibly unpleasant.
The ideal method for applying terpenes to buds, flowers, and dried herbs is the Terps Spray.
For smaller quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic spray, or similar to perform a similar (though not as professional) function to the Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a blotting paper with terpenes in the same container, but they usually integrate better when sprayed on buds.
Storage of terpenes:
Cali Terpenes containers are ideal for perfect storage of terpenes, as they are endowed with a safety seal, leak-resistant disk, and screw-on cap.
- Each time you finish using the product, replace all these components to prevent any possible evaporation or contamination.
- Terpenes are volatile elements, so we always recommend storing them in a cool place in the refrigerator (about 7ºC), to prevent any possible evaporation while working with them.
- The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, in this way you will prevent the evaporation of the more volatile terpenes.
- Always keep the terpenes in their original container, because the material used (dark glass that does not let UV light pass through) is perfect for storing thermo or photosensitive products. This way, you'll avoid any possible color changes, losses, or cross-contamination (terpenes can act as solvents and corrode residues of materials like certain plastics).
Certificates of Cali Terpenes:
- Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an export company with the FDA (Food and Drugs Association).
- Its products comply with European vaping regulations.
Awards:
- Awarded the prize for the best post-harvest product at Spannabis 2019.
