Cali Terpenes Usage:
The cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) from Cali Terpenes are used for different applications, but mainly to add the distinctive aroma and flavor of cannabis strains plus beneficial properties to all types of products:
- Vaping products (e-liquids, cartridges and more).
- Cannabis extracts and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for making "vape cartridges", etc.)

Cali Terpenes Usage Recommendations:
Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without dilutants or additives. You should handle them with caution and they shouldn't be consumed without diluting them (except for tastings in Cali Terpenes' pipettes or borosilicate vaporizers).
1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from 1ml dropper). 1 drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in a 10ml base:
1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%
2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%

Liquid bases for vaping (e-liquids):
- The recommended terpene ratio to give enough flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to 4% and 2% is usually the norm)
- For instance, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base, contributing 2% of terpenes. To do this, you'd only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
- Following the same ratio, if you have 100ml of e-liquid base, you should add 2ml of terpenes.
Cannabis extracts and concentrates:
- The recommended Cali Terpenes proportion to provide enough flavor and aroma to dry extractions (hash or traditional hash, dry…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (you can use up to 4% maximum and 2 to 3% is usually the norm).
- For example, suppose you have 10 grams of cannabis concentrate, like a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you want to add 3% of terpenes. For this, you'll only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
- It's very useful to experiment with lower to higher amounts, for example: 1 drop for 3 grams, 1 drop for 2 grams, 1 drop for 1 gram… try a tasting after a few days to appreciate the result of different proportions used, so you can know about the ideal proportion before mixing it with all the material.
- It's very important to mix it well so the result will be homogeneous, and also let it rest/macerate for at least 24/48 hours, so the terpenes will be integrated fully.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:
Terpenes can also be used to flavor buds, of hemp or cannabis. It's not recommended to add more than 4% of terpenes and in some cases the aroma percentage may be less, as the flowers may contain some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in an intensely and possibly unpleasant aroma.
The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers and dry herbs is Terps Spray.
If you have small amounts of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to perform a function similar (though not as professional) to Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a blotting paper with terpenes in the same container, but they're usually more integrated when sprayed, in case of buds.

The Cali Terpenes containers are ideal for a perfect storage of the terpenes, as they come with a security seal, anti-leak disc and twist cap.
- Every time you finish using the product, put all these elements back on to prevent possible evaporations or contaminations.
- Terpenes are volatile elements, therefore we always recommend storing them in a cool place in the refrigerator (approx 7ºC), to prevent possible evaporations while working with them.
- The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, in this way you'll avoid the evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
- Always keep the terpenes in their original container, since the material used (dark glass that does not allow UV passage) is perfect for the storage of thermo or photosensitive products. This prevents possible color changes, losses or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as dilutants and corrode materials residues like some plastics).
