Type and genetics
The exact origin of Purple 1 regular seeds is unknown, but according to the information given by the Dutch Passion seed bank itself, it is a hybrid halfway between Indica and Sativa on the one hand, and a parental of Afghani genetics on the other.
Growth
It is a vigorous variety that was developed to adapt to the rigorous Dutch climate. The size of the plants varies between 1.5 and 2.5 meters high. The most characteristic of this variety of marijuana are its purple calyxes and the big thin leaves of sativa aspect.
Aroma and Taste
The aroma is strong like that of the old school varieties. It has a taste that can remind us of the best New York Diesel, a bit bitter and citric.
Effect
The effect is stimulating, more cerebral than physical. A good companion to enjoy cannabis during the day, combining its consumption with daily activities.
Production
Purple 1 has an average production, reaching 400 grams per square meter in indoor cultivation. In outdoor cultivation, plants planted in late spring can reach half a kilo per plant.
Flowering in indoor cultivation
Although not recommended for indoor growing, it is ready to harvest in only 8 weeks.
Flowering in outdoor crops
In the northern hemisphere it is ready to cut in early October, while growers in the southern hemisphere will be able to harvest it in April.
