Type and Usage

Mega Worm by Plagron is solid earthworm castings from the species Dendrobaena Veneta (currently known as Eisenia hortensis). It's used as an additive to the growing substrates, enriching them with top-quality organic matter.

Benefits for the Plant

The natural phytohormones contained in the earthworm castings stimulate the plant’s root system development and accelerate its growth. Its buffering capability reduces the risk of overfertilization and corrects abrupt changes in the pH of the irrigation water.

Usage and Dosage

  • Outdoor Grows: 1 liter of Mega Worm castings for every 5 square meters
  • Indoor Grows: Add a 10% of substrate volume and mix well before transplanting.
