Type and genetics

Selection of California indica made in the Netherlands, in search of a strong and fast flowering plant. It is available in the form of regular seeds and also feminized. During the 70's this plant was known as Amstel Gold, later and by request of the Amstel brewing company it was renamed Passion 1.

Growth

This plant is extremely large, with light green colorations despite being mainly indica. It is capable of reaching 3 and a half meters in height when grown outdoors. Perfectly adapted to the Central European summer. Resistant to cold and rain.

Aroma and Taste

Both smell and taste are predominantly citrus.

Effect

As a good Dutch plant, it has a strong and heavy effect, very pleasant.

Production

The production varies from a minimum of 250 grams to a maximum of 750 grams per plant, depending on the size reached by the bushes during the growth phase.

Flowering in indoor cultivation

The average flowering time is about 6 weeks to twelve hours.

Flowering in outdoor crops

Ready to cut at the end of September in the Iberian Peninsula. In Central Europe it can be ready to cut in mid-August.
