Type and Genetics
Oldtimer’s Haze regular cannabis seeds from ACE Seeds originate from the '70s Haze collection of the English breeder Oldtimer. ACE Seeds has worked with these seeds allowing two distinct phenotypes to emerge, one green and one purple. The strain carries genetics from Mexico, Colombia, South India and Thailand.
Growth
The plant grows with a sativa structure, open and branched with flexible, long branches that sway in the winds.
The open structure and airy buds enable it to resist humidity rather well.
Aroma and Flavor
The green phenotype is sweeter and fruitier, while the purple one tastes more like licorice. Both phenotypes are incense-like, spicy and carry hints of oriental wood.
Effect
The effect is very clear, mentally stimulating, uplifting, calm and limitless, you can keep smoking without feeling overwhelmed or lethargic. It’s perfect for creative and artistic activities as well as for going out for a walk.
Yield
The interior yield is low and exterior yield is medium low.
Flowering in Indoor Crops
Under indoor conditions, flowering concludes in 16/20 weeks, after the corresponding growth phase.
The plant continues to grow during flowering, ideal for selecting a mother plant and growing from cuttings.
Flowering in Outdoor Crops
Outdoor, it's harvested in December/January in the Northern Hemisphere and in June/July in the Southern Hemisphere.
The strain requires a climate with very mild winters or a greenhouse.
It adapts well to pruning.
