Lavender Terpenes by Cali Terpenes:

The Lavender cannabis terpene profile by Cali Terpenes is a perfect mix of botanically sourced terpenes with the aromatic profile (terpene profile) of the renowned terpene extraction from the famous cannabis strain Lavender, cross of Super Skunk, Big Skunk Korean, Afghani and Hawaiian.

The Cali Terpenes are of a 100% organic origin (vegetal).

For the production of the fragrances (terpenes) from Cali Terpenes, they use certified raw materials of the highest quality from non-GMO, pesticide-free, and pollutant-free cultivations.

The Lavender terpenes do NOT contain cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN,…).

Main Terpenes in Lavender:

Caryophyllene, Alpha-Pinene, Beta-Pinene, Limonene, Myrcene, Linalool, Terpinolene, Terpineol, Nerolidol, Camphene.

Modulation of the Effect of Cannabinoids by Terpenes:

The Lavender terpenes act synergistically with cannabinoids, modulating their effects and providing a relaxing, enjoyable, and pleasant sensation.

They're excellent for improving mood and reducing the nerves accumulated during the day.

Taste and Aroma of Lavender Terpenes:

The Lavender Terpenes from Cali Terpenes have a fresh aroma, a floral combination highlighted by lavender. Intense lavender taste with fresh, citrus notes.

Uses of Cali Terpenes:

The cannabis aromas (terpenes profiles) from Cali Terpenes are used for many different applications, but within the cannabis and vaping sector, they're basically used to add aroma and taste of specific cannabis strains to products such as:

  • Vaping liquids (e-liquids).
  • Cannabis extractions and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for the production of "vape cartridges" …)
  • Hemp of cannabis flowers (buds).

Recommended Use of Cali Terpenes:

The Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without diluents or additives. They must be handled with care and should not be consumed undiluted (except for tastings in Cali Terpenes borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per droplet from the 1ml dropper). 1 drop of terpenes represents about 0.25% in 10ml of base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%

4 drops in 10ml = 1%

8 drops in 10ml = 2%

12 drops in 10ml = 3%

*We always suggest conducting tests from lower to higher quantities on a single base, as Cali Terpenes provide an intense flavor and aroma swiftly, due to their 100% purity.

Vaping liquid bases (e-liquids):

  • The recommended terpene dosage to offer a sufficient flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (it can go up to 4%, with 2% being the most common)
  • For example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base, providing a 2% of terpenes. For this, you'll only have to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
  • Following this proportion, if you have 100ml of an e-liquid base, you should add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis extractions and concentrates:

  • The recommended dosage of Cali Terpenes to give enough flavor and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash or hash, dry…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates, ... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (it can go up to a maximum of 4%, with 2 to 3% being the most common).
  • For example, suppose you have 10gr of a cannabis concentrate, for example, a distillate (commonly known as clear), and you want to add 3% of terpenes. For this, you'll only have to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
  • It is very helpful to conduct tests from lower to higher quantities, for example: 1 drop for 3gr, 1 drop for 2gr, 1 drop for 1gr… conduct a taste test after a few days to appreciate the result of the different proportions used, this way you'll know the ideal proportion before mixing it with all the material.
  • It's very important to have a good mix for the result to be homogeneous, in addition to allowing a resting/maceration period of at least 24/48 hours, in this way the terpenes will fully integrate.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:

Terpenes can also be used to flavor buds, hemp or cannabis. It is not recommended to add more than a 4% of terpenes and even in some cases, the aroma percentage to apply must be lower as flowers may have some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in an aroma that is overly intense and possibly unpleasant.

The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.

If you only have small quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to perform a similar function (but not as professional) to Terps Spray. It is also possible to use a blotting paper with terpenes in the same container, but they usually integrate better when sprayed, in the case of buds.

Preservation of Terpenes:

The containers of Cali Terpenes are designed for a perfect preservation of terpenes, as they're equipped with a safety shutter, anti-leak disc, and thread closure cap.

  1. Every time you're done using the product, replace all these elements to avoid possible evaporations or contaminations.
  2. Terpenes are volatile elements, so we always recommend storing them in the cold in the fridge (about 7ºC), to prevent possible evaporations while working with them.
  3. The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, thereby avoiding the evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
  4. Always keep the terpenes in their original container, as the used material (dark glass that does not allow the passage of UV) is perfect for the storage of thermo or photosensitive products. In this way, you avoid possible color changes, losses, or cross contaminations (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode residues of materials such as some plastics).

Certificates of Cali Terpenes:

  • Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an exporting company in the FDA (Food and Drugs Association).
  • Their products comply with European vaporizing regulations.

Awards:

  • Award for the best post-cultivation product at Spannabis 2019
