1ml of terpenes equals 40 drops (0.025ml per standard 1ml dropper drop). One drop of terpenes equates to roughly 0.25% in a 10ml base:

• For example, let’s suppose you want to give 10ml of e-liquid base a taste having a 2% terpene content. You’d only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.

• Following the same ratio, if you had 100ml of e-liquid base you should add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis Extracts And Concentrates:

• The recommended Cali Terpenes ratio to provide adequate taste and scent to dry extractions (classic hash or hashish, dry…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates, etc. varies between 1 and 3% of terpenes (with a maximum of 4% and 2 to 3% being the most commonly used).

• For instance, let’s presume you have 10g of cannabis concentrate, like a distillate (commonly referred to as clear), and you wish to incorporate 3% terpenes. For this, you’d only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.

• It’s very helpful to do less to more quantity tests, for instance, 1 drop per 3g, 1 drop per 2g, 1 drop per 1g… and then taste test after a few days to appreciate the outcome of the varying ratios as this will allow you to identify the perfect ratio before mixing it with the entire material.

• It’s crucial to mix it properly to achieve a consistent result, and likewise leave it to rest/infuse for at least 24/48h so the terpenes are thoroughly incorporated.

Terpenes can also be applied to add aroma to hemp or cannabis buds. It’s not recommended to apply more than 4% of terpenes, and in certain cases even less aroma should be used as the buds could retain some terpenes of their own. An excess of terpenes may result in an overly intense and potentially unpleasant aroma.

The ideal method of applying terpenes to buds, flowers, and dried herbs is via Terps Spray.

If you only have small quantities of buds on hand to work with, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic atomizer or similar to perform a function similar (though not as professional) like Terps Spray. Alternatively, terpenes can be added onto a porous paper in the same container, but they usually get more integrated when atomized, especially for buds.

1. Make sure to replace all of these components each time you’re done using the product, to avoid possible evaporation or contamination.
2. Terpenes are volatile elements, hence, we always recommend storing them at low temperatures in the refrigerator (around 7ºC), to prevent potential evaporation while working with them.
3. The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC, this way you’ll avoid evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep the terpenes in their original packaging, as the material used (dark glass that blocks UV rays) is perfect for preserving heat or photosensitive products. This way you’ll avoid potential color changes, losses, or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode residue materials as is the case with some plastics).
