The Kit Gavita Pro 6/750e - De - Flex - E Series consists of:

Gavita Pro 750W 400V EL DE Lamp

• This Double Ended lamp provides between 10 and 25% more light for the same power as the standard HPS lamps.
• Double Ended lamps require a compatible high-frequency ballast, they create a stable arc without acoustic resonance, with an optimal output, providing the lamp with a longer lifespan.
• It illuminates more than 1.5 square meters with 1.000 μmol m-2 s-1
• Ballast and lamps are specifically designed to work alongside eachother.

Gavita Reflector:

• This reflector for double ended Gavita HortiStar HR96 lamps is made of high reflective Miro aluminum.
• Reflectors get dirty and lose reflectivity over time, the Gavita reflector allows for the plates to be changed without having to remove the lamp, easily and conveniently.
• Gavita, unlike standard reflectors made from anodized aluminum which are more susceptible to dirt and loss of reflectivity, manufactures its reflectors in the Netherlands with Miro® aluminum.

Gavita Electronic Ballast

• High-frequency electronic ballast, it has a power selector for 400/500/600/750/825W, designed to be used with EL DE 6/750W 400v lamps.
• The ballast housing is sealed and has a gore-tex® ventilation cap that allows the housing to be ventilated, keeping the equipment safe from dust and moisture.
• It comes with a white coating, durable and UV resistant. It has sealed terminals with gaskets, and it features high-quality contacts and terminals.
• The absence of a cable between the ballast and the reflector makes possible a very low EMI (electro magnetic interference), complies with FCC (US Federal Communications Commission) standards and CEE certification.

La Huerta's Opinion

This kit can be connected to a Gavita El1 Gen 2 Master Controller or Gavita El2 Gen 2 Master Controller.

The master controller:

• Centralizes the control of the ballasts.
• The set-up of sunrise and sunset can be adjusted.
• If the temperature controllers can't maintain the optimal temperature, the master controller automatically reduces the lighting and in case of failure of the climate controllers, it can turn off the lights, protecting the plants.
