Cali Terpenes are 100% pure, without diluents or additives. Handle them with caution as they shouldn't be consumed undiluted (aside from tasting in Cali Terpenes’ borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per 1ml dropper drop). 1 drop of terpenes is approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%

• Following the same ratio, if you have 100ml of e-liquid base, you’d have to add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis extractions and concentrates:

• The recommended Cali Terpenes ratio for imparting sufficient flavor and aroma to dry extracts (such as traditional hashish or dry hash), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC distillates or CBD distillates,... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (with a potential to go up to a maximum of 4%, though 2 to 3% is most common).
• For example, suppose you have 10g of cannabis concentrate, say a distillate (commonly referred to as clear) and you wish to add 3% terpenes. To accomplish this, you’ll only have to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
• It’s very useful to conduct smaller-to-larger quantity tests, for instance: 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g... taste it after a few days to evaluate the result of the different proportions used. This enables you to ascertain the ideal ratio before mixing it with the entire material.
• It's critical to ensure homogeneous mixing, as well as to allow for a resting/maceration period of at least 24 to 48 hours, enabling the terpenes to fully integrate.

Terpenes can also be used to scent buds, whether hemp or cannabis. It's recommended not to add more than 4% of terpenes and, in some cases, the aroma percentage might need to be lower as the flowers can contain some inherent terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in too strong and possibly unpleasant aroma.

The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dried herbs is Terps Spray.

If you’re dealing with small quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to perform a function akin to (though not as professional as) Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a terpene-soaked absorbent paper in the same container, but they usually integrate better when sprayed, in the case of buds.

Storage of Terpenes:

The containers of Cali Terpenes are ideal for perfectly preserving the terpenes, as they are equipped with a safety stopper, anti-leakage disc, and a screw-top cap.

1. Once you're done using the product, put all of these elements back to prevent potential evaporation or contamination.
2. Terpenes are volatile elements, hence it's always recommended to store them in a cool place like the fridge (around 7-8ºC), to prevent potential evaporation while you’re working with them.
3. The working temperature with the terpenes shouldn’t exceed 60ºC, thereby preventing the evaporation of the more volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep the terpenes in their original container, as the material used (dark glass that blocks UV rays) is perfect for storing thermo or photosensitive products. This helps avoid potential color changes, loss, or cross-contamination (terpenes can act as solvents and corrode residual materials like certain plastics).
