The feminized seeds Desfran are the result of an intravarietal crossing of Destroyer made by Alberto, the owner of the Haze magazine. This Argentinian grower, expert in cannabis, has worked with Dutch Dutch Passion to create this sativa, champion of several cannabis contests.
The origins of this variety are in a triple crossing of landrace Oaxaca, Red Dot and Meo Thai.
Desfran does not need many nutrients during the vegetative growth, in spite of that it has an extraordinary branching and development. During the flowering phase, it can triple its height, producing compact and dense flowers.
Desfran produces a very exotic aroma and flavor that are something really special even for the most trained palates; an exquisite blend of woody notes combined with fruity flavors reminiscent of pear and apple pie. In addition, the buds of this variety give off a smell reminiscent of melon or grape, very particular.
The spectacular layer of resin that covers the buds of Desfran provides a cerebral and even psychedelic effect. It is a sativa like those of the old school, really powerful with high levels of THC around 18% .
This strain is one of the great producers of the Dutch Passion catalog. Expert growers manage to beat their records, surpassing the gram per watt in indoor crops. Outdoors they are real monsters which exceed by far the kilo per plant.
Under the lights, Desfrain will be ready to harvest in a period ranging from 9 to 12 weeks of flowering.
In the Northern Hemisphere , harvesting takes place at the beginning of October. In the Southern Hemisphere it can be cut from the beginning of April.
