Type and genetics
The Cashew Kush Feminized of Sensi Seeds, comes from specially selected seeds. The mixture of Do Si Dos, Mendo Breath and Kush, results in a hybrid plant, 50% sativa and 50% indica which preserves the open structure of the sativas and the productive power of the indica. This means that the flowers will be well ventilated, thanks to the wide internodal spaces and that its buds are large and bulky. It is said that the buds have so much resin that just touching them makes your fingers sticky for the rest of the day.
Growing
Cashew Kush feminized seeds have some of the "stretch" or "strenght" of sativas. They grow continuously during the vegetative phase, but when flowering arrives, their height increases in a surprising way. The "stretch" is not too strong in this variety with heights from 150cm in open air cultivation.
Aroma and taste
The scent given off by the rivers of resin that run through the lustrous buds is fresh, strong forest of pines and citrus fruits that splash the taste, invaded by the reminiscences of the sweetest Kush in the retronasal space. The best of both worlds that can also go fantastic with a good cider and a plate of Indian food.
Effect
The feminized seeds of Cashew Kush of Sensi Seeds, give a plant that transmits sensations of calm and tranquility. Calm and comforting waves that will make anyone sink into the couch, at the mercy of the zen vibrations that conspire to promote euphoria and well-being.
Production
Cashew Kush from Sensi Seeds is a plant that adapts well to different cultivation methods, such as soil, coco, hydroponic systems and living soils. The producer qualifies its harvests as "big", with results varying between 400 and 450g/m2 indoors and up to 500g outdoors.
Flowering in indoor crops
The indications of Sensi Seeds are somewhat irregular on this point. Although they indicate that the normal flowering time is usually between 55-75 days, there is a big difference between one and the other. The producers indicate that the best way to notice the moment of harvesting is through magnifying glasses and microscopes that allow to appreciate the head of the trichomes and to discern its degree of maturation.
Flowering in outdoor crops
In open places, the Cashew Kush develops its maximum potential, receiving the sun's rays directly, so it is necessary to plant at the end of May and take advantage of the extra light provided by the summer season. In the same way as in the previous point, it will be necessary to use a magnifying glass or microscope to determine the optimum time for harvesting, in the interval of 55 - 75 days of flowering.
Percentage sativa/indica
50% sativa - 50% indica
La Huerta's opinion
The Cashew Kush of Sensi Seeds, is such a resinous variety that it is recommended to have at hand a second set of scissors to manicure the harvest. The flowers, profusely covered by resin, are ideal for the extraction of the active principles. On the other hand, given its open structure, it will not be necessary to prune the leaves intensively, as the flowers will be better ventilated in a natural way.
