Type and Use
Canna Nitrogen is a nitrogen mononutrient, designed to be used in cases of deficiencies or as a stimulus in the growth phase of cannabis plants.
Plant Benefits
- Nitrogen is the primary element in plant nutrition, it's what our plants need the most, it's involved primarily in the production of stems, leaves, and is responsible for encouraging vigorous plant growth.
- A lack of nitrogen results in weak and small plants, whose leaves turn yellow, starting from the base of the plant, and spreading to the rest if the deficiency continues.
- Nitrogen in the form of ammonium ( NH4+ ) can be quickly absorbed by the plant, while nitrate( NO3-) is absorbed more slowly. Canna Nitrogen combines them both to ensure that the plant has the nutrient available in the most effective and safe manner.
Directions for Use and Dosage
- Mix 1 or 2ml of Canna Nitrogen in every 1 liter of irrigation water.
- For foliar application, spray on the leaves using 1ml of Canna Nitrogen for every liter of water.
We recommend starting to use it with half the dosage indicated by the manufacturer.
Composition
NPK 17-0-0
16.9% total nitrogen (N total), 3.4% ammoniacal nitrogen (N-NH4), 6.6% nitric nitrogen (N-NO3), 6.9% ureic nitrogen.
Canna has transitioned from measuring their products in weight/weight to weight/volume, although the concentrations remain the same, only the way of expressing the product's formulation has changed.
La Huerta’s Opinion
Do not mix with concentrated fertilizers containing sulfates
Nitrogen is ideal for correcting deficiencies. When selecting a growth nutrient, it's crucial to choose a complete fertilizer, that contains not just nitrogen, but also phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients.
