The Blue Dream terpenes by Cali Terpenes contain no solvents or additives and contain no cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN…), it's 100% pure, natural aroma in liquid form.
Main Terpenes
D-Limonene, Myrcene, Beta-Pinene, Alpha-Pinene, Caryophyllene, Linalool, Fenchol, Terpinolene, Camphene.
Entourage Effect
The Blue Dream terpene profile acts in coordination with other compounds found in cannabis, like cannabinoids, producing what's known as the entourage effect. Thus, in products like flowers, extracts, or tinctures containing cannabinoids, terpenes help to amplify and/or modulate their effect.
In this case, the terpene profile of Blue Dream provides a stimulating, balanced, and enjoyable sensation, as well as physically relaxing. Furthermore, it assists in boosting mood and alleviating some pains.
Flavor and Aroma
The Blue Dream terpenes by Cali Terpenes possess complex aroma and flavor that combines clear notes of sweet berries with herbal hints, pine, hash, citrus, florals and forest fruits, like blueberries.
Uses of Cali Terpenes Terpenes:
The cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) of Cali Terpenes are useful for many different applications, but are primarily used to impart the characteristic aroma and flavor of cannabis strains, in addition to offering beneficial properties to all kinds of products:
- Vaping products (e-liquids, cartridges and more).
- Cannabis extracts and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for producing "vape cartridges", etc.)
- Hemp flowers or cannabis (buds).
- Food and beverage
- Cosmetics and aromatherapy
Usage Recommendations for Cali Terpenes Terpenes:
Cali Terpenes' terpenes are 100% pure, without any diluents or additives. You must handle them with care and never consume them undiluted (except for tastings in Cali Terpenes' borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers).
1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from a 1ml dropper). 1 drop of terpenes accounts for approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:
1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%
2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%
*We always recommend experimenting with smaller to larger quantities on the same base, because Cali Terpenes' terpenes easily provide an intense flavor and aroma, given their 100% purity.
E-liquid bases for vaporization:
- The recommended terpene ratio sufficient to flavor e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to a maximum of 4% can be used, although 2% is most common).
- For example, suppose you want to flavor 10ml of an e-liquid base, adding 2% of terpenes. To do this, you only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
- Keeping the same ratio, if you had 100ml of e-liquid base, you'd add 2ml of terpenes.
Cannabis extract and concentrates:
- The recommended ratio of Cali Terpenes terpenes for adding sufficient flavor and aroma to dry extracts (traditional hash, dry, etc.), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, and THC or CBD distillates... is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (up to 4% can be used at maximum, although 2 to 3% is most common).
- As an example, suppose you have 10g of a cannabis concentrate, for instance, a distillate (commonly known as clear), and you want to add 3% of terpenes. To do this, you only need to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
- It's very useful to experiment with smaller to larger quantities, for example: 1 drop for 3g, 1 drop for 2g, 1 drop for 1g… Perform a tasting after a few days to evaluate the results of the different ratios used. This way, you'll know the ideal ratio before mixing it with the entire material.
- It's very important to thoroughly mix it resulting in a uniform product, in addition to allowing a rest/maceration period of at least 24/48h. This way, terpenes are fully integrated.

Hemp or Cannabis Flowers:
Terpenes can also be applied to flavor buds, whether they're hemp or cannabis. It's recommended not to add more than a 4% of terpenes because flowers can contain some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes may result in an overly intense and possibly unpleasant aroma.
The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dry herbs is Terps Spray.
If you have small quantities of buds, you could use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to perform a function similar (yet not as professional) to Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a blotting paper with terpenes in the same container, but they're usually better integrated when sprayed, in the case of buds.
Terpenes Conservation:
The containers for Cali Terpenes terpenes are ideal for perfect terpene conservation. They come with a safety cap, leak-proof disk, and a screw-on lid.
- Replace all components after each use to prevent possible evaporations or contaminations.
- Terpenes are volatile elements, therefore, we always recommend storing them in a cool place like a refrigerator (at approximately 7ºC), to prevent possible evaporations while you're working.
- You should ensure that the working temperature does not exceed 60ºC, to avoid evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
- Always keep terpenes in their original containers. The material types used (dark glass that does not allow UV light) are perfect for preserving thermo or photosensitive products. This prevents potential color changes, losses, or cross contaminations (Terpenes can act as diluents and corrode residue from certain materials, like plastics).
Certifications of Cali Terpenes Terpenes:
- Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an exporting company with the FDA (Food and Drugs Association).
