Type and Genetics
The Blackwater seeds from Original Sensible Seeds provide growers with a fresh, productive, and tasty strain. Created from a cross between the two American stars - San Fernando Valley Kush and Mendo Purps, resulting in an indica-dominant feminized hybrid that grows rapidly and offers the tough resistance of a wild strain.
The plant's silhouette corresponds to an indica: condensed internodes waiting to be filled with thick, fragrant, and sticky resin-loaded flowers. Wide, strong branches and broad dark-colored leaves give a clue to this new strain's morphology.

La Huerta's Opinion
Blackwater from Original Sensible Seeds is a plant full of flavor, with nearly black flowers heavily loaded with resin and superb productivity.
Easy to grow and manage, this strain is highly adaptable to cold and humid climates, showing resistance to temperature changes. However, the humidity in the growing environment should be monitored to prevent fungal infections in very compact flowers.
To amplify the dark colors of this strain, it's beneficial to lower the temperature of the crop from midway until the end of the flowering phase, achieving a difference of about 10 – 15 degrees between day and night temperatures.
It can be recommended to all types of growers, especially novice, indoor, and outdoor growers.
