Cali Terpenes' Blackberry Kush Terpenes:
Cali Terpenes' Blackberry Kush cannabis terpene profile is a combination of botanical-origin terpenes with the aromatic profile (terpene profile) inherent to the terpene extraction from the exotic Blackberry Kush cannabis strain (Afghani x Blackberry).
Cali Terpenes' terpenes are of 100% organic (vegetal) origin.
To create the aromas (terpenes), Cali Terpenes uses certified raw materials of the highest quality originating from GMO-free, pesticide-free, and contaminant-free cultivation.
Blackberry Kush terpenes do not contain cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN,…).
Main Terpenes in Blackberry Kush:
Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Limonene, Pinene, Linalool, Menthol, Nerolidol, Cineol.
Modulation of cannabinoids' effect by terpenes:
Blackberry Kush terpenes synergize with cannabinoids, modulating their effect and providing a feeling of physical relaxation and mental pleasure, perfect for reducing stress and alleviating insomnia.
Blackberry Kush terpenes' taste and aroma:
Blackberry Kush terpenes by Cali Terpenes have a powerful aroma that recalls Afghani charas with sweet, earthy, and forest fruit notes.
Applications of Cali Terpenes:
Cali Terpenes' cannabis aromas (terpene profiles) are used in a great deal of different applications, but in the cannabis and vaping sector, they're primarily used to add a specific cannabis strain's aroma and taste to products such as:
- Cannabis extractions and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for "vape cartridges" etc.)
- Hemp or cannabis flowers (buds).
Recommendations for using Cali Terpenes:
Cali Terpenes' terpenes are 100% pure, without diluents or additives. Handle them with care, as they should not be used undiluted (except for tastings with Cali Terpenes' borosilicate pipettes or vaporizers).
1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from the 1ml dropper). One drop of terpenes represents approximately 0.25% in 10ml of base:
1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%
2 drops in 10 ml = 0.50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%
*We always recommend doing tests from a smaller to larger quantity on the same base, as Cali Terpenes' terpenes can easily provide powerful taste and aroma due to their 100% purity.
Vaping liquid bases (e-liquids):
- The recommended terpene ratio to provide sufficient taste to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (even up to 4%, with 2% being the most common).
- For example, let's say you want to flavor 10ml of e-liquid base with 2% terpenes. You only need to add 0.2ml of terpenes.
- If you have 100ml of e-liquid base, you'd want to add 2ml of terpenes, using the same ratio.
Cannabis extractions and concentrates:
- The recommended ratio of Cali Terpenes to provide sufficient taste and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash or dry hash…), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax…), rosin, THC or CBD distillates, is between 1 and 3% of terpenes (even up to a maximum of 4%, 2 to 3% being the most common).
- For example, suppose you have 10gr of cannabis concentrate - say a distillate (commonly known as clear) - and want to add 3% terpenes. To do this, just add 0.3ml of our terpenes.
- It's very useful to do tests from a smaller to larger quantity, for example: 1 drop for 3gr, 1 drop for 2gr, 1 drop for 1gr. After a few days, perform a tasting to appreciate the results of different used proportions. This way, you'll know the ideal ratio before mixing it with all of the material.
- It's very important to make a thorough mix so the result is homogeneous, as well as allowing a resting/maceration period of at least 24/48h. This way, the terpenes will fully integrate.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:
Terpenes can also be used to flavor buds, of hemp or cannabis. It's recommended not to add more than a 4% of terpenes, and some cases might require even less as the flowers might contain some native terpenes. Excessive terpenes can result in an overly strong and possibly unpleasant aroma.
The ideal method to apply terpenes to buds, flowers, and dried herbs is Terps Spray.
If you have small quantities of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or the like to perform a similar (though not as professional) function to Terps Spray. It's also possible to use absorbent paper with terpenes in the same container, but they tend to be more integrated when sprayed, in the case of buds.
Conservation of terpenes:
Cali Terpenes' terpene containers are ideal for a perfect conservation of the terpenes, as they come with a security seal, leak-preventing disc, and a screw-on cap.
- Every time you're done using the product, reapply all of these elements to prevent possible evaporation or contamination.
- Terpenes are volatile elements, so we always recommend storing them cold in the refrigerator (around 7ºC), to prevent potential evaporation while working with them.
- The working temperature with terpenes should not exceed 60ºC in order to avoid evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
- Always keep terpenes in their original container as its material (dark glass that blocks UV) perfectly preserves thermo or photosensitive products. Thus you'll prevent possible color changes, losses, or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as solvents and corrode some materials like, for instance, certain plastics).
Certificates of Cali Terpenes:
- Cali Terpenes S.L. is registered as an export company in the FDA (Food and Drugs Association).
- Their products comply with European vaporization regulations.
Awards:
- Award for best post-cultivation product at Spannabis 2019.
