• Cannabis extractions and concentrates (rosin, BHO, traditional hash, THC or CBD distillates for "vape cartridges" formulation, etc.)

• Hemp flowers or cannabis (buds).

Use recommendations for Cali Terpenes' terpenes:

The Cali Terpenes terpenes are 100% pure, with no diluents or additives. Please handle with care and avoid using them undiluted (except for tastings with Cali Terpenes' pipettes or borosilicate vaporizers).

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per drop from the 1ml dropper). Each drop of terpenes represents roughly 0.25% in 10ml of base:

Vaping liquid bases (e-liquids):

• The recommended terpene ratio for imparting sufficient flavor to e-liquid bases is between 1 and 3% terpenes (depending on the taste, up to 4% may be used, the usual being 2%).

• For example, suppose you want to add flavor to 10ml of e-liquid base, contributing 2% of terpenes. For that, you'd need to add just 0.2ml of terpenes.

• According to the same ratio, if you had 100ml of e-liquid base, you'd have to add 2ml of terpenes.

Cannabis extracts and concentrates:

• For imparting sufficient taste and aroma to dry extractions (traditional hash or dry...), as well as BHO (shatter, live resin, wax...), rosin, THC or CBD distillates, the recommended Cali Terpenes terpene ratio is between 1 and 3% (up to 4% at most, with 2 to 3% being the norm).

• As an example, suppose you have 10gr of cannabis concentrate, like a distillate (commonly known as clear) and you want to add 3% terpenes. For that, you'd only have to add 0.3ml of our terpenes.

• It's very handy to carry out tests in increasing amounts, for example: 1 drop for 3gr, 1 drop for 2gr, 1 drop for 1gr... having a tasting session after a few days to determine the result of the different ratios used. That way, you'll know the ideal ratio before mixing it with all the material.

• It's very important to ensure a good blend so that the result is homogeneous and leave it to rest/macerate for at least 24/48h. This way, the terpenes will fully integrate.

Hemp or cannabis flowers:

Terpenes can also be used to scent buds of hemp or cannabis. Addition of more than a 4% terpenes is not recommended, and in some cases, the percentage of aroma to apply may need to be reduced, as the flowers may contain some inherent terpenes. An excess of terpenes would result in an overly intense, possibly unpleasant aroma.

If you only have small amounts of buds, you can use these liquid terpenes in a cosmetic sprayer or similar to carry out a function similar to (though not as professional as) Terps Spray. It's also possible to use a blotting paper with terpenes in the same container, but they tend to integrate better when sprayed, in the case of buds.

Preservation of terpenes:

The containers of Cali Terpenes' terpenes are perfect for a proper preservation of the terpenes, as they come equipped with a safety stopper, anti-leak disk, and a screw-on cap.

1. Every time you're done using the product, put all these elements back to prevent possible evaporation or contamination.
2. Terpenes are volatile substances, hence we always recommend storing them in a cool place such as the fridge (around 7ºC), to prevent evaporation when you're working with them.
3. The working temperature for terpenes should not exceed 60ºC to avoid the evaporation of the most volatile terpenes.
4. Always keep the terpenes in their original packaging as the material used (dark glass that blocks UV light) is perfect for the storage of thermo or photo-sensitive products. This way, you avoid possible color changes, losses, or cross-contaminations (terpenes can act as diluents and corrode residues of materials like some plastics).
