Type and genetics
The feminized cannabis seeds Acapulco Gold by Barney's Farm are the result of a selection of original Central American strains made by the breeders of Barney's Farm, taken from Acapulco sativas, working on them and then offering them as feminized seeds.
Growth
Acapulco Gold is a very stable plant that grows like a true sativa, developing branches in abundance. It prefers a medium-low feeding during the growth and normal in bloom. The breeders of Barney's have managed to tame it so that it adapts very well to indoor and outdoor crops, and to all types of substrate; soil, coco and hydroponic.
Aroma and Flavor
The smell of this strain is fruity and floral. It has a very sweet taste, which has earned it great fame among European growers. In its complex terpene profile, citric fruits stand out with notes of cream, pine and wood.
Effect
The psychoactive effect of this strain is very optimistic, causing great body relaxation; a great ally when it comes to combating stress. Acapulco Gold rises quickly and presents a creative and euphoric effect followed by relaxation.
Yield
Like the original strain, Acapulco Gold blooms with big buds and huge trichomes. The flowers have the colors between golden and reddish which gave it the name of Acapulco Gold. In indoor grows, the average yield is about 500 grams per square meter. Outdoors, in warm weather, it can easily reach 600 grams per plant, although grown in soil and at the beginning of the season, it can reach 1500 grams per plant.
Flowering indoors
Under artificial lighting, the flowering time is between 70 and 75 days, after the appropriate weeks of growth. It adapts very well to SOG cultivation techniques if you start from cuttings and pass to flowering with low height. Its great branching makes it a good candidate for bending techniques such as SCROG and Low Stress Training.
Flowering outdoors
Grown under the sun in the northern hemisphere it is ready to cut from mid-October and in the southern hemisphere it can be harvested from mid-April. If planted directly in the ground or in large pots it can easily exceed 2 meters in height. If you use plant support ring in the flowering phase you will easily increase the yields of Acapulco Gold.

La Huerta's opinion
In our opinion it is one of the legendary cannabis strains, which should not be missing in the collection of any true cannabis professional. To get a great yield we recommend using fertilizers from the Top Crop Master Pack.
